North East Derbyshire District Council formally adopted its Local Plan on 29th November 2021. The current plan is in place between 2014 and 2034.

The adopted Local Plan now forms part of the statutory Development Plan for the area of North East Derbyshire outside the Peak District National Park.

The Local Plan sets out the vision for the area, planning policies and site allocations that will guide development in the Local Plan area to 2034.

Future decisions on planning applications should be made in accordance with it unless material considerations indicate otherwise.
