North East Derbyshire District Council is the principle authority and has responsibility for handling and determining planning applications.

The Parish Council is asked to consider and comment on planning applications at its monthly meetings. A list of planning applications is put compiled by the Clerk and this is based on consultation requests from North East Derbyshire District Council.

Please note that the Parish Council can only comment on planning applications. It does not decide the final outcome nor does it have the power to grant permission or refuse applications.

Members of the public are welcome to attend Parish Council meetings and comment on planning applications in the public session.
