Wingerworth Christmas Festival 2024
Join us for this year's Christmas Festival and Christmas Tree Light-up!
Wingerworth Community Association and Parish Council warmly invite you to the Parish Hall on Friday 6th December 2024 for an evening of festive fun.
Join us in the lighting of the Christmas Tree, singing carols with the Ashover Band, mulled wine, refreshments and a visit from Santa.

Wingerworth Snow Warden Scheme 2024/25
Wingerworth Parish Council is on the look out for any willing volunteers to help clear snow and ice from their road/street this Winter.
The Parish Council will be taking part in the County Council Snow Warden Scheme and will receive a free supply of grit to distribute amongst the community to help clear snow and ice from footpaths and pavements.

Wingerworth Civic Service of Remembrance 2024
A service to remember the lives touched by conflict and recalling the lives of loved ones lost.
To be held at the Parish Hall on Monday 11th November 2024.
The public are asked to arrive from 10.30am for an approximate start time of 10.45am.
Refreshments will be served before and after the service.

Christmas Craft Fayre 2024
The Parish Council's Annual Craft Fayre returns again this November!
This year's Craft Fayre will be held on Saturday 9th November 2024 between 10am and 4pm in the Parish Hall.
Please come along to find those unique, locally crafted Christmas gifts and support Wingerworth's businesses and budding entrepreneurs.
Entry is free and there will be a raffle and refreshments.

Wingerworth Scouts Bonfire and Firework Display
The Parish Council is supporting the Scout's Annual Bonfire and tickets will be available through sales at the Parish Hall on the following dates and times:
Friday 18th October between 3pm and 4pm
Saturday 19th October between 10am and 12pm
Saturday 26th October between 10am and 12pm
Thursday 31st October between 4.30pm and 6.30pm
Friday 1st November between 3pm and 4pm
